Ms. Linda Teodosio's Coca-Cola display is one of the most popular displays in TOYCON. Many people are awed by the variety and number of Coke items that were displayed there. CNPH was able to have a short interview with her and below are the photos and facts that we were able to acquire:
- She started collecting in 1996 by getting freebies of Coca-Cola and from there she started to continue by different Coke merchandise.
- The bottles cost about Php 500 to Php 15,000 each, depending on its rareness
- Her most-prized collection include the Coca-Cola telephones
- Her most unforgettable experience was when a bottle of Coke exploded and ants began to pester her cabinet
- She buys from ebay and receives gifts from friends as well as from her trips abroad. Her friends and relatives know that she’s a Coca-Cola collector so she’s always receiving Coke items as gifts.
- Her advice to newbie collectors: “They can start small and it will eventually grow if your budget permits it.” As for her, she only spends what she can afford within her budget.
